Joyce Meyer Devotional Message For 22nd November 2025
Topic: Choosing to Rejoice
Scripture: Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP)
Serious and painful things happen at times in our lives, and we need to be aware of them and prepared to face and deal with them. But at the same time, because of the Spirit of God in our lives, we can learn to relax and take things as they come without getting nervous and upset about them. We can enjoy our lives even in the midst of imperfection.
With God’s help, we can learn how to be at peace, enjoying the wonderful life He has provided for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. Twice in Philippians 4:4, the apostle Paul tells us to rejoice. He urges us in the following verses not to fret or have any anxiety about anything, but to pray and give thanks to God in everything—not after everything is over.
We can rejoice in the middle of any challenging situation. In spite of all the troubling things going on around us in the world, our daily confession can be, This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24 NKJV).
Prayer of the Day: Lord, help me face challenges with peace, trusting You in every circumstance. Even in imperfection, I choose to rejoice and thank You for Your goodness today.
